So I made this today, part 3

I found this little treasure at Michael's and I thought I have to make this into a pin!

Then all I had to do was glue a pin backing on to the back!

Fabulous right!

So I made this today part 2

I also made this headband! I call it Candy Ribbon.
Supplies: headband, 2 different kinds of ribbon, glue gun, glue sticks, paper plate. Paper plate is to put the glue gun on if you dont have a holder, which I dont because I am cheap!

Step one: Cover the headband like the one in the last post. Then pick your ribbons, I am using black and dove grey.

Step Two:

Cut your ribbons. I did about a foot. I left the black one a little longer to keep it interesting.

Step Three:

Line it up and put a bit of glue once you find a placement that you like, I did mine in the center.

Step Four:

Fold it over like this and glue it down on an angle like so

Step Five:

Fold it over again at a angle, once you find one that you like pinch it and then glue it down.

Step Six:

Keep on folding like so, glueing down any loose parts and get wider as you continue on

Then it will look like this.

Step Seven: Pick your favorite side then glue it to the headband

Step Eight:

Rock it!!!

So I made this today, Part 1

So I made this head band today, two actually. This is the step by step of how to make it for yourself. Your going to need a glue gun, glue, a paper plate, ribbon, feathers, felt, pearls and rhinestones, headband.

Step one:
Take a normal headband. This is a Christmas one, so I am def going to cover it!

Glue a little on the inside

Then I wrapped it around the outside, glueing here and there to keep it in place. Then finish around to the otherside.

Step Two:

Cut out a piece of felt in a shape that will work for you. I chose this trianglish shape.

Step Three:

Start attatching the feathers with the glue gun, make a row on the top for the longer feathers.

Like so

I also added some black feathers.

Step Four:

Then I started adding my other feathers, working my way down. I use the top part that is colorful and cut off the rest of the fluffy crap.

Step Five:

I worked them all the way down, added some rhinestones and pearls

Step Six:

Attatch to headband and rock it with pride!!

I also made this one::

I made it the same way, hopefully you make your own!!

My 3-D flower project

My 3-D flower project, I got the inspiration from a magazine.

Step one:

Materials: Tablecloth, flower, pain, picture frame, paint brush, water, paper plate

Step Two:

White wash the back of the picture frame and flower. This takes a few coats.

Step Three:

Paint it your desired color. Nothing too dark, you wont be able to see the shadows. I did mine a lilac color.

Step Four:

Put the back in the picture frame and glue the flower down on the backing of the picture frame and Viola!

Ta Da!

I know I am super late but

Ok so I know I am late and all but I am so in love with Clinique's Almost lipstick Black Honey. I bought it recently and I adore it! I use it all the time! It leaves a beautiful pink color on my lips after it wears away.

This is what it looks like on me, with just one coat:

It is a winey brownish color. This is universally flattering so I highly suggest a tube for yourself!

Eye shadow primers/ Secret weapons!

Inspired by some one else post, ( a beauty/fashion guru who is all of 17..) here are some other alternatives to eye shadow primers. If you dont have parents to buy you make up or perhaps dont have $20 to spend on primer such as Urban Decay or MAC, try these!
These are what I use. The first one that I use for every day, is Revlon Illuminance Creme Eyeshadow, it comes with 4 colors and it is a creamy blendable eyeshadow. A whopping $7.50 or so at the drug store. I rub some on my eyelids before eye shadow and it makes it stick and be vibrant. If I want really intense staying power I use a concealer stick from NYC, it costs about $2.00. Seriously there is no need to buy more expensive!
Here are some examples::

You can do this too! Make up tutorials coming soon!!

Date night outfit

Every Wed is date night for me and my wife, so I usually dress up for it. Here was last Wed outfit

So I wore a new top I got from JCPennys, It is like looking up at a tree from the bottom/blurry photograph. I really dig it, it represents my artistic side. I wore it with black jeggings and lacey flats that have a green tinge to them. I think it tied in great. Also wore black and brass statement earrings. The shirt is a dolman sleeve top so  it is very forgiving and comfortable.  Whatcha think??
